2005

Well, the Generous Grease Monkeys and Beauty School Dropouts made an indelible mark on our recent golf tournament fundraiser at the Maderas Golf Club. Their collective participation and support assisted us in raising a net sum in excess of $120K, which is currently at work improving the lives of underprivileged children, the disabled and homeless animals in San Diego County. Beneficiaries of this year’s event include the following programs and or organizations in San Diego County: Craig Castaneda Scholarship Fund, Toby Wells YMCA, Helen Woodward Animal Center, Rancho Coastal Humane Society, San Diego Hippotherapy, MiraCosta College Gratis Program, North County Wheelchair Sports, San Diego Chapter of the Autism Society of America, San Diego Brain Injury Foundation, North County Humane Society, Special Olympics North County, SNAP, Mojalet Dance Collective, Shoes That Fit, Canine Companions for Independence, Girl Scouts of America, and the Vaughn Parker Family Foundation (Breast Cancer Awareness Education). As the Toby Wells & Craig Castaneda Golf Classic has sold out for four consecutive years, we are now accepting reservations for next year’s tournament with a required $350 deposit. If you have an interest in making a reservation, please contact Adrienne Wells Castaneda, Volunteer Director of the Toby Wells Foundation at (858) 391-2973. Thank you for making our recent event our best yet!
